Smell just like a fireplace with a nice bit of vanilla

This is a gorgeous scent for any gender. It’s a cosy, spicy fragrance that dries down to a sweet vanilla and really does smell like you’re by a fireplace. Projection and longevity are great, I can still smell it on me the next day and I’ve had a lot of compliments!

939 By the Fireplace was a blind buy but I went on reviews of the original sent by Maison Martin Margiela and the scent profile. Wow, I wasn't disappointed!! This is a completely unique scent. Imagine your sitting in a a log cabin by an open fire, logs crackling, in the middle of winter during a snow storm, wrapped in cashmere blankets and roasting chestnuts. This captures the essence and warmth of snuggling down in winter. This is definitely an autumnal/wintery scent and if you are collecting different scent profiles like me to layer and mix, this is a great addition. Smokey, silky and aromatic. A sensual and unusual scent that captivates you in it's wintery world. I haven't smelt anything else like this.

It is a winter smell , strong and heavy but in all the good ways.
This has become my go to fragrance. I bought a bottle of the original Mason Margiela and thought the sample I got from here was better, so I ordered and received last week a 100ml bottle. I often put a couple of sprays of each on me to see which 1 lasts longest etc and this 1 seems to win every time :)
Smells very like the real thing but doesn't last at all.
My bottle arrived a couple of days ago and I'm absolutely over the moon with it. I honestly believe this smells better and stronger that the real thing. You could still smell it the following day. My boyfriend normally really doesn't like strong perfume, but he loves it too and as it's unisex he is going to wear it as well. I wish I'd discovered it sooner. I would 100 per cent recommend.

A quite addictive perfume which starts with a distinct wood smoke/fire smell then settles into a lovely musky vanilla. It lasts all day. Bought it as a present then bought for myself!
100% would recommend. I usually avoid buying fragrances without testing them first, but I tried this and am so happy with it!!! It smells incredible and lasts so long. It has a warm, cozy fragrance which I loveeeee! It really does smell like a fireplace to me, and has a slight musky feel to it which i wouldn't normally go for but it is PERFECT. I've only been using it for a couple weeks and have received so many compliments. Will definitely be repurchasing :)
