They tend to produce a faster, more immediate scent throw. Because the wax is warmed rather than burned, the fragrance oils vaporise efficiently from the moment the wax starts to melt - most people notice the scent within a few minutes. Whether that makes them "stronger" depends on the room and the burner, but for quick fragrance impact they generally outperform a candle of equivalent size.

Each bar contains 6 cubes, with approximately 10 hours of fragrance per cube - around 60 hours per bar in total. Unlike a candle, the wax itself doesn't evaporate; it stays in the dish while the fragrance oils gradually deplete.

Once the scent has faded, the wax will still be there - that's when it's ready to swap out. See the cleaning question below for the easiest way to do that.

Yes - the same fragrance profiles used in the EDP range go into the wax melts. If you wear No. 197 or No. 463, the matching melt carries the same scent.

It's a practical way to try a fragrance profile at home before committing to a full perfume bottle, or to carry the same scent from your skin into your space.

No - our melts work in both tealight warmers and electric melters. Electric burners give a more consistent temperature, which can extend the scent throw slightly, but either works well.

Snap off a cube, place it in the dish, and the heat does the rest.

Two methods work well. The first: while the wax is fully melted, drop two or three cotton wool balls into the dish - they'll absorb the liquid wax quickly. Lift them out, wipe the dish with a dry cloth, and it's clean.

The second: let the wax cool until it's just set but not fully hardened, then apply light pressure to the edge - it should pop out as a solid disc. Either way takes under a minute.

One cube is enough for most rooms - a bedroom, bathroom, or average-sized living room. For a large open-plan space, two cubes will give you a more even fragrance throughout.
