Presence. Our core range is an Eau de Parfum blended at 20-25% fragrance oil, which gives most people 6 to 8 hours of wear. The Intense Collection is built to last longer, project further and carry deeper base notes, with 8 hours or more typical on skin.

Intense starts at £7.95 against £4.99 for the core range, so it comes down to how much the extra wear and presence matter to you.

Most people get 8 hours or more from an Intense fragrance, compared with 6 to 8 hours from our standard Eau de Parfums. Sprayed onto clothing rather than skin, it will usually last longer again.

Wear time varies with your skin, how much you apply and the weather. Pulse points such as the wrists, neck and inner elbow give the best results, because body heat helps carry the scent.

It is the same fragrance profile, so you will recognise it straight away. What changes is the character. The base notes carry more weight, so woods, amber and musk feel richer and more pronounced from the start.

Most people describe the Intense version as deeper and smoother rather than simply louder. If you like the standard version you will know it immediately. It just has more presence.

While you can certainly wear them every day, many of our customers prefer to save their Intense fragrances for evenings out, special occasions, or days when they want maximum impact and projection.

If you are wearing an Intense fragrance to the office or in close quarters, we recommend applying it sparingly - just one spray is usually enough to leave a sophisticated, long-lasting impression without overwhelming the room.
