I ordered this as I was searching for a Gourmand Fragrance . I wasn't sure what to expect but once this settled into my skin it left a really sweet, creamy, nutty scent. It's not overpowering but it's strong enough for you to smell and others to notice. The scent is so intoxicating that one could only really enjoy. The price is also great and the longevity... If I only could order a body lotion and wash with the same scent.. but you definitely got me as a customer for that one
Not how I thought it would smell. Another review mentioned an alcohol smell. The way this perfume reacts to me brings out the rum top note more than the others. However, after that initial dry-down, I do get the pistachio with the floral and fruity mid-notes mellowing out. For me, this perfume is an acquired smell but will be really nice for autumn and cooler days. I wish the tonka carried it through a bit more but perfumes smell different on everybody.
