Presence. Our core range is an Eau de Parfum blended at 20-25% fragrance oil, which gives most people 6 to 8 hours of wear. The Intense Collection is built to last longer, project further and carry deeper base notes, with 8 hours or more typical on skin.

Intense starts at £7.95 against £4.99 for the core range, so it comes down to how much the extra wear and presence matter to you.

Intense versions are available for most of our popular scents. Look for the black Intense label on the product page.

For most people, yes. You need fewer sprays for the same effect, so a bottle tends to go further despite the higher price. One or two sprays is usually enough for all-day wear.

It is the same fragrance profile as our core Eau de Parfum, with more depth and more staying power.

Most people get 8 hours or more from the Intense range on skin, compared with 6 to 8 hours from our standard Eau de Parfums. That is usually enough to carry through a full day and into the evening without reapplying. On clothes, the scent often lasts longer again.

As with any fragrance this varies with your skin type and where you apply it. Pulse points, meaning the wrists, neck and inner elbow, give the best longevity because body heat helps project the scent.

One or two is enough for most people, sometimes just one. This catches people out if they are used to applying an Eau de Toilette more liberally, because the Intense range projects further and lasts longer per spray.

Start with one, give it a few minutes to settle on your skin, then add a second if you want more presence. Over-applying is easy to do and hard to undo.

The same fragrance profile, but not identical in character. The opening is less sharp, and the heart and base notes come through more prominently from the start.

Most people describe the Intense as richer and smoother than the standard version rather than simply louder. If you already know and like the Eau de Parfum, you will recognise it immediately. It just feels more settled.

It can, if applied directly to fabric at close range. That is true of any fragrance.

We would recommend spraying onto skin rather than clothes. Pulse points on the wrists, neck and inner elbow are best, as body heat helps project the scent naturally. If you do want to spray onto clothing, hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches away to reduce the chance of residue marking the fabric.

Dark or delicate fabrics are the most susceptible.

Another Grand Intense Masterpiece. These Guys really know How to Enable a Disabled Man on a very Low Income Smell and feel like a Human Being Again. No way could I afford to own such Beautiful Quality Scents only receiving the Bare Living Amount per week. But these guys make it possible for Me. The Quality and Oil Content is Comparable with the Original. I sadly no longer can afford Such Luxury. But with The Essence Vault it is possible . Thank You Everyone at the Essence Vault. Never smelt the original. I have a lot of EV scents. They are cheap enough to just get them and if I don’t like them, I’ll find someone that does and give them to them. Only had to do it three times so far. This was not one of the times - smells amazing and I get a lot of comments asking what it is. I only have two issues - would be amazing if it actually said what it’s inspired by on the box and bottle. Just a little pre printed sticker. If this can’t be done then don’t write on both sides of the box because then I have nowhere to write myself. I have, maybe 18? Scents now. So would be nice to tell them apart without me having to get a sticker, cover it over the writing and then write on it myself. Other one is please add more intense scents.
